A Landex Retrieval update was performed on Friday, January 4, 2008.  The changes to the Retrieval program are listed below.  Please share this information with your fellow searchers.

The main change is that new toolbars and buttons have been added to the image screen.  A mouse may or may not be connected to your Retrieval computers, based on the county configuration.  The current keystrokes will still work whether a mouse is connected or not.

You might also see some PDF buttons that are dim on the screens.  These buttons are available for the staff to save reports and images and pdf files.

 

New Toolbars 

New toolbars have been added to both sides of the Image screen.  Buttons have been added to automate some tasks.  Keystrokes will still work whether a mouse is or is not connected to the Retrieval station.  Buttons have been added for the following features:

  • Page Up/Page Down, First Page, Last Page
  • Zoom (enlarge/decrease)
  • Rotate 90 degrees to the right and left (left rotate is new)
  • Pan
  • Go To
  • Print
  • Print Region (map printing)
  • Print Queue
  • Return Information
  • Receipt Information
Double Click to Retrieve Image
  • The image may now be retrieved directly from the index report display by double clicking anywhere within the instrument desired.
