Technical
support is guaranteed by Optical Storage Solutions on all LANDEX
software issues. A modem or internet connection is installed into the System Administration computer
station
for a support specialist to connect into the county to perform
maintenance, upgrades and support.
Normal support hours are from 8:00 am to
5:00 pm Eastern
time.
Customers
should call the support phone number: 1-800-370-2836 and
press 2 for hardware issues and 3 for software issues.
Support
packages available include:

All
hardware and all LANDEX software.

LANDEX
software and operating system software (Windows NT/2000 and
Oracle operating system, but no hardware).

LANDEX software only
(no Windows NT/2000, Oracle operating system software, nor
hardware).
Training
is provided at the time of installation. This normally consists of 10 days of on-site training with a remainder of 3-5
days to be used at a later date, such as end-of-month accounting
time. Frequent visits are made to each county to ensure
proper knowledge of the system.
Module upgrades consisting of new features are installed free of charge.
All counties are notified of changes, with a choice to implement
the new features.
